We send our products mainly in cardboard boxes, as a letter package or as a post parcel. Your order will normally be dispatched immediately after receiving your payment, in exceptional cases no later than two days later. We will inform you immediately. If you are unable to send your orders within five days of purchase (your payment), we will notify you as soon as possible. After all, you have the right to cancel the purchase if we do not send your order within 5 working days. See the General Terms and Conditions art 11 paragraph 3 (in Dutch language).
At this moment we arrange almost all our shipments through the services of DHL Parcel. Within the Netherlands DHL offers the option to deliver small boxes as letterbox parcels, with track and trace. That is the most comfortable option for you. After all, you don't have to stay at home for acceptance. Regretably this option is only provided within the Netherlands.
By default we will send your order to the delivery-address you provide us. Please be consentious in your adrress, although we will always make a check, we have only limited possibilities to verify the correctness.
We also offer the option of delivery via a DHL service point. As soon as the shipment has been delivered to the service point, you will receive a notification from DHL. During seven days you can collect the package there. If you have not done so after three days, you will receive a reminder. When the package is there for a week, it is considered undeliverable and sent back to us. Your purchase amount (including shipping costs) will be refunded after receiving the package.
We provide practical, sound packaging and ask you to be critical of the condition of the parcel when it arrives. You have the right to refuse a parcel if it is visibly damaged and you have reasonable suspicions that the content may be damaged or incomplete. Discuss this with the delivery and take a picture of it if possible. Notify us immediately.
If the parcel is undamaged, but the content is nevertheless damaged or incomplete, also inform us immediately in this case via the contact form or our telephone service desk.
We ask you for an allowance for handling and shipping costs. The amount of this contribution depends on the order amount and your place of residence, as described below. The handling and shipping costs are for our account (free) when the order total is € 25.00 or more for residents in within the Netherlands.
Shipping costs (private consumers)
All private consumers pay a reasonable contribution in the costs of handling and shipment. The tariff depends on the country you want us to deliver your order. We accept orders from all EU countries.
If you live in the EU in the following countries, you cannot order directly from the webshop:: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Malta and Slovakia. You can inquire about the possibilities via the contact form. We do not deliver outside the EU (we will make a decision with regard to the UK in due course).
Please take notice of the actual tariffs in English language for all EU shipment.
Returns (right of withdrawal)
Since spices - also dried - are perishable foods, they are excluded from the right of withdrawal. The statutory cooling-off period of 14 days after receipt of the product applies to the non-food items.
